John M. Saville

Assistant Director of Public Sector

Responsibilities

John Saville is an Assistant Director of Public Sector for J.A. Montgomery Risk Control. He provides risk control services to numerous joint insurance funds and their member municipalities. He serves as the lead safety consultant for the Burlington and Camden Municipal Joint Insurance Funds. In addition to his work with the JIFS, he has also served on the Safety Training Program Update Committee and monitors contract trainers for presentation content and skills.

Background

Prior to joining J.A. Montgomery in 2006, Saville spent 20 years as an independent Safety, Health and OSHA Compliance Consultant servicing both governmental and private entities. In this capacity, he developed and implemented plant safety programs as well as performed routine loss control checks, inspections, and safety training. In addition to providing training, Saville has written or co-written more than 30 different training programs, including the development of many PowerPoint presentations, both prior to and since his tenure at J.A. Montgomery.

Saville is certified in hazardous waste operations and has been authorized to teach both general industry and construction OSHA outreach training programs.

Community Involvement

Saville Is a Member of the NJ PEOSH Advisory Board, NJ State Industrial Safety Committee and past Chair of the Health and Safety Committee for the NJ Water Environment Association, South Jersey Section. Saville also serves on the Police Chief’s Ad-Hoc Committees for the Atlantic, Camden, BURLCO, and TRICO Joint Insurance Funds.
