Responsibilities

Ken Schulz is an Assistant Director of Public Sector for J.A. Montgomery Risk Control. He is responsible for providing safety and loss control consultation services to municipal governments. He is involved in loss control analysis, job-site surveys, OSHA compliance, fleet safety and emergency preparedness activities.

Background

Schulz has 30 years of progressive experience as a professional in the fields of occupational health and safety, construction safety and management. His proven abilities include the development and implementation of fire safety programs, OSHA compliance programs and the reduction of lost time accidents and injuries. Schulz is also skilled at presenting safety-training programs, some of which include hazard communication, lock out/tag out, confined space entry, and fire safety.

Schulz has been active in the fire service for 35 years, currently holding the rank of Chief of the Fire Department in the Wood- Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. He also holds a New Jersey State Level Two Fire Instructor certification and has been employed as a part-time fire instructor at the Bergen County Fire Academy for more than 25 years.
